Added a mid-length handguard, 18.5" barrel with 5" fakesuppressor and hard sights.

WOW! I can shoot bursts of 3 pretty fast, yours sounds like a full-auto, you must have a very talented trigger finger or some type of device attached.

What have you done to the plastic stock to allow for cooling during rapid fire? My original SS barrel gets warm to the touch even for 30 rounds in 30 sec, I can imagine you may be melting plastic unless you wrapped your barrel in fiberglass or something(?)

The barrel gets warm,but not hot enough to melt anything. I have not done anythign to the stock.
I was going to put some aluminum sheeting in the handguard, but it's not needed.

I can rapidfire that guy as the trigger is VERY light. Probably 3lbs or under. That's all finger-power..  :)

Thanks for the hook up to the site. Looks like a lot of fun.
I'll post my SL10/22 here to share.
I think it would have been better to go with a full clam shell receiver instead of the SL8's rear butt stock.
